Charlton deliver blow to 'under pressure' Hammers boss Nuno

Charlton maintained their perfect start to the Championship season with a 2-1 victory at West Ham on Saturday, with Hammers boss Nuno Espirito Santo saying afterwards "of course I feel under pressure".

Lloyd Jones and Tyreece Campbell put Charlton 2-0 up in the London derby before Joel Piroe, on loan from Leeds, pulled one back on his West Ham debut.

Taty Castellanos missed a stoppage-time penalty for the Hammers, relegated from the Premier League last season, as Charlton made it two wins from two.

"Of course, I feel under pressure," Nuno said. "West Ham is pressure every day –- it is a big club. You see that with 62,000 fans in the stands and we let them down. This is the more disappointing feeling."

Southampton bounced back from defeat by Watford as Divin Mubama scored a dramatic late goal on his home debut to help the Saints secure a 3-1 victory over former club Stoke.

Almost a year ago, the Manchester City loan striker was sent off for Stoke at St Mary's for diving.

Ryan Manning scored an injury-time penalty after Svante Ingelsson was sent off for bringing down Samuel Edozie.

Cyle Larin bagged his third goal in as many games to give Tonda Eckert's side an early lead but Stoke hit back through Ethan Galbraith.

- Saints go 'all in' -

Southampton have been deducted four points and were expelled from the Championship play-off final after being found guilty of spying on a training session of Middlesbrough, the side they beat in the semi-final, in contravention of league rules.

"I think as much as you want to be at 100 percent in the way a game goes, that's just not the way at the beginning of the season," said Eckert, who retained his post as Southampton manager despite overseeing the spying scandal.

"We made a commitment at half-time that we go all in and I think we deserve to bring that game in our direction in the second half."

Fer Lopez scored two goals as Wolves secured their first win of the season with a 3-1 success away to Preston.

Blackburn stunned Middlesbrough with two goals in six second-half minutes to earn a 2-1 victory at Ewood Park, while Wrexham drew 1-1 with Watford in front of Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

Cardiff remain unbeaten two games into their return to the second tier after Cian Ashford and Yousef Salech's goals secured a 2-2 draw at Derby.

Tairyk Arconte scored his first two goals for Millwall as they overwhelmed 10-man Norwich 3-0 to earn their second successive win.

Norwich, who have now lost both of their opening games, had defender Jose Cordoba sent off in the second half at The Den.

Portsmouth claimed their first win of the campaign with a 3-1 success at Lincoln.

Demarai Gray rescued a point for Birmingham with a late penalty in a 2-2 draw at home to Bristol City.

QPR drew 0-0 with Bolton at Loftus Road and it was a similar story for Sheffield United, under threat of a 12-point deduction for unpaid debts, as they played out their second goalless stalemate of the season at Swansea.
