Koh-Lanta All Stars: Dorian Addresses Lola's Strategic Choice
In the latest episode of Koh-Lanta All Stars, eliminated contestant Dorian reflected on his journey after finishing last in an immunity challenge. In an interview with Télé-Loisirs, he addressed his disappointment regarding ally Lola’s strategic choices but clarified that their bond remained intact due to his unseen protection during the reunification phase.
Dorian finished last in an eliminatory immunity challenge on the November 3 episode of Koh-Lanta All Stars, ending his run on the reality competition. The 30-year-old contestant, who previously appeared in the 2020 season titled "4 Terres," was eliminated but immediately joined fellow contestant Ugo on the Banned Island for a second chance at the game.
Speaking to Télé-Loisirs, Dorian discussed his elimination and his relationship with Lola, his closest ally throughout the competition. He expressed frustration over a specific decision Lola made during a comfort challenge, where she chose to share her reward with Maxime rather than him. The reward allowed the winner to make a phone call to loved ones, a privilege Dorian had previously indicated was important to him.
"Not offended, but a bit frustrated because I would have liked to be chosen for the phone call," Dorian said. "We had talked about it before and she knew it was important to me." Despite this disappointment, he stated he did not hold a grudge against Lola, understanding her strategic logic in prioritizing Maxime.
Dorian also revealed that he played a significant, though invisible, role in protecting Lola during the reunification phase. He claimed that his influence shielded her from the "Reds" tribe, making it taboo for others to target her even if viewers did not see the dynamic on screen. This protection allowed Lola to safely build alliances with other contestants, including Maxime.
Dorian maintained that their alliance was built on sufficient trust to allow individual decision-making. He noted that while he missed the phone call opportunity, he recognized that Lola had found a reliable ally in Maxime who protected her even when she pleased others.
